As a feminist economist I work to change economic policy so that it fulfils women’s human rights. I served as Vice President of the International Association for Feminist Economics (2004-6) and as a member of the UN Committee for Development Policy (2013-2021). I am an adviser to UN Women and to the UK Women’s Budget Group.
This webpage provides information about my research and activism over almost 45 years, including published and unpublished papers, presentations and interviews.
